Isaac Hayes - Bio
Rev. Isaac C. Hayes is an Associate
Minister at the Apostolic Church of God in Chicago, IL, where Dr. Byron T.
Brazier is the Pastor. He has served as the Assistant-Secretary and
Assistant-Treasurer for the Illinois District Council Young People's Union of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. He is also a seminar and conference speaker.
At the Apostolic Church of God, Rev. Hayes serves on staff as a Ministry
Planner and Mid Day bible teacher. He has demonstrated leadership by
serving on the Youth, Young Adult and Men's Leadership Teams. He has also served
in various ministries and auxiliaries within the church.
Rev. Hayes is the President of Heat on the Streets (H.O.T.S.) Ministries, a
holistic-based ministry designed to reconnect people to their God-given
destinies. H.O.T.S. Ministries emphasizes the necessary foundation of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ, and emphasizes three pillars: the Identity, Purpose,
and Destiny of the Believer. He advocates the abundant life
through establishing Kingdom (Biblical) principles in the lives of God's
people.
Rev. Hayes is also engaged in civic advocacy. He served as the
Political
Director for Antoine Members in the 2008 Congressional elections. He has always been available to
help
under-served and under-privileged communities. He fought against a
public transportation rate increase, the closing of public schools, the
closing
of mental health centers, and has rallied against gang violence. In
2010, he won the
Republican nomination for U.S. House of Representatives in Illinois’ 2nd
Congressional District.
Rev. Hayes' educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in
Information Systems from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. He is
currently enrolled in the Master of Divinity program at Moody Theological Seminary.
Rev. Hayes resides in the Village of Park Forest with his wife Latonya.
